Watch this video to get a better idea of what Embodiment is about.
Embodiment practice is chance to dance, an opportunity to move freely, to express and release in free movement, embodiment and awareness.
It is a practice in which to take time and space to connect, through the aliveness of your own dance, with the body, heart and mind. Through music and facilitation you are invited into authentic movement.
In the dance we explore the vast landscape of ourselves in movement in relation to self, others and the wider group. Through learning to reconnect with our body, inviting breathe, intention, awareness and the alchemy of movement, we are inviting acceptance, expression, release, transformation and integration.
Embodiment offers weekly classes, workshops and on-going groups in free movement and dance. Over the past 7 years David has been working closely with Susannah and Ya’Acov Darling Khan of the School of Movement Medicine. He completed an apprenticeship and is now a trainee teacher with the School of Movement Medicine and continues to be very inspired by the work of Susannah and Ya’Acov Darling Khan.
