Dreaming Body
Samhain Prayers for all our relations
A Movement Medicine weekend residential workshop including fire ritual and night ceremony with David Mooney
Movement Medicine is a body based movement meditation practice that will reconnect you to the wisdom of living from the heart, the joy of knowing who you are and the satisfaction of making your unique contribution to life. Movement Medicine will deepen your connection to yourself, the spirit of the dance, your creativity and the integrity and guidance of your own soul.
Samhain is the most significant of the Celtic ceremonies, when the veil is thinnest between the waking world and dreaming world. This is an opportunity to connect into the indigeousness wisdom and sacredness of this time of year, something our ancestors have been doing on these lands* since ancient times.
In ceremony, dance and through your own creativity you will map and create your own medicine circle by strengthening relationships with unseen support, animal allies and elemental gaurdians. There will also be an opportunity to honour loved ones who have passed, your ancestors and all your relations in a Samhain Movement Medicine dance ceremony and fire ritual.
Together we will co-create and dance into ceremony to offer our prayers to all of our relationships: ourselves, others, our communities, the living earth, unseen support, our ancestors and the Great Mystery. This workshop will resource you with a greater capacity to be your true self and connect with the healing medicine of your dreaming self. From this ground you will learn new ways to be in creative and authentic relationship with others and the wider community of life.
Whether you are a seasoned dancer or newcomer you will come away with a tool kit of practical and subtle exercises relevant for meeting the challenges of walking this life in these times
